Summer camp is one of the most impactful weeks a student can have.
In years past we have had high school and junior high camps on 2 different weeks in 2 different locations. This year, we are doing something different. Both camps are being held the same week at Hume Lake.
We are excited for our junior high students to experience something different, but it does come with an increase in cost due to the impact the pandemic has had on Hume Lake.
That being said, we do not want to make camp something that causes a financial burden on any family, or worse have a student miss out on the opportunity to go to camp due to financial hardship.
This Sunday, January 30th, we are hosting a banquet. The event is a formal event that will include a plated dinner and student-led entertainment all in an effort to reduce the cost of camp for our students. Throughout the night you will get an opportunity to hear testimonials from students and leaders on the impact camp has had in their lives. We will also be giving away some door prizes and there will be a silent auction.
If you would like to make a donation in lieu of attending the event, those are also very appreciated.
